How to use Markdown Table to CSV
- Paste a pipe-delimited Markdown table with a header and a separator row, or choose a .md, .markdown, or .txt file.
- Select Convert table to CSV. The separator row is syntax and is omitted; use a backslash to escape a literal pipe inside a cell.
- Check the CSV preview, then copy the result or download markdown-table.csv. CSV quoting is applied to values that need it.
What this tool does
The parser expects a standard Markdown table; complex layouts are unsupported.
Example
Convert | Name | Score |, then | --- | ---: |, then | Ada | 12 |. The CSV contains the Name and Score header row and Ada,12.

Do I need a Markdown separator row?
Yes. The parser expects a header row followed by an alignment row made of dashes, with optional colons.
Are inline Markdown styles rendered?
No. Cell contents are carried into CSV as text; Markdown markers such as backticks or asterisks are not rendered as formatting.
